Soft play Our soft play area is the largest area within the nursery. In here we have large selection of soft play toys, bikes and trikes, slides and a ball pool. All here to help develop the children's physical abilities as well as social skills. All the children in the nursery have access to the soft play area regardless of the room they are in. The soft play area is used when it is not appropriate to take the children outside due to weather conditions. We also use the room for our parties, whole nursery activities and when we have special visitors in. |
The Space ship A long with the traditional home corner role play area, here at Redbrook we are very creative. With help from the children we came up with a role play idea all the children would have lots of fun exploring. All the rooms have access to the space ship and in here there are many different areas which will help promote every area of development. In the space ship there are mark making areas, construction areas, dressing up materials and much, much more. As well as all of these areas just being in a space ship is a completly new experience which automatically indulges the children's imaginations. |

Under the sea When thinking of ideas for our space ship role play the children also loved the idea of being under the sea, swimming with the fishes! Lucky for us, here at Redbrook we have lots of room so we were able to create both a space ship and an under the sea room. In the under the sea room the children are introduced to a whole new experience with complete contrast to the space ship. There are lots of accessories and areas to enhance the children's imaginations and skills. Such areas are;
