Childcare Vouchers Childcare Vouchers are widely used by companies to help their employees with childcare costs. They are paid in-lieu of salary and administered by the employer. From 6th April 2006 Childcare Vouchers became tax and National Insurance exempt for up to £55 per week (£243 per month). This means that employees can receive the following annual savings on child care costs: Up to £962 per annum for standard rate taxpayer* up to £1196 for higher rate tax payer* Accor At Redbrook we accept all Child Care Vouchers including Busy Bees, Leapfrog, Accor and Sodexho. Ask your employer for more details about Child Care Vouchers. Early Years Entitlement* The Early Years scheme entitles children to up to 10 hours per week (2½ hours per day) per child nursery education funded by the Local Education Authority. To be eligible for funding, a child must attain his/her 3rd birthday between 1st September and 31^st March. Children whose birthdays fall between 1st September and 31^st December will be eligible for funding for both spring and summer terms (starting in January). Children whose birthdays fall between 1st January and 31^st March will be eligible for summer term only (starting after Easter). Children having their birthday from 1^st April and 31^st August are not eligible for Early Years Entitlement. *NB: All dates are provisional and are subject to change. For example, summer term entitlement 2007 includes children with birthdays up to 14^th April. Please check for latest information on eligible dates.
